Broadband CPE
Each of the team at FTS have a minimum of 15 years experience in sourcing Broadband Customer Premise Equipment (CPE).
From supplying the first SpeedTouch USB ADSL modem in 1999, then working with customers such as PIPEX, Nildram, Freeserve and BT Openworld (and many others), through delivering multiple generations of Wi-Fi gateway, our team has sourced millions of devices over 20+ years. We have in depth knowledge of ADSL, VDSL, Ethernet (FTTH), Voice and associated compliances.
Depending on individual service providers needs, our team can provide in depth knowledge of available CPE, advise on product strategy and can manage formal procurement exercises (RFQ, RFP...) for single or tiered gateway strategies including mesh solutions, App and third party integrations.
Remote Management
At the heart of our business is our in-house developed, vendor agnostic remote management platform. The FTS Auto Configuration Server (ACS) is a cloud based TR69 platform that integrates directly with a service provider’s customer order management, CPE delivery and manages the CPE through the full device lifecycle of an end-user's contract.
Our ACS has been in operation for over ten years managing millions of devices supporting both TR98 and TR181 device 2. We have expanded the platform’s capability to build in bulk data collection, TR143 speed testing and can report on an end-user’s Wi-Fi experience.
We deliver a field proven, multi-service provider platform that manages the full CPE life-cycle: delivery, provisioning, software upgrade, service rollout and diagnostics.

Managing the long-lead time supply of Broadband CPE is part of our DNA. Establishing robust forecasting is essential when dealing with vendor’s manufacturing in the Far East.
Our team’s experience has been gained at the sharp edge of global events. Never missing a delivery through multiple crisis events including Covid19, Ukraine, tsunamis and the recent Red Sea routing disruption. This demonstrates the strength of our vendor relationships and our experience.
At FTS we also regularly benchmark our vendors in terms of price and in life reliability, giving our customer’s confidence that they can provide compelling Broadband products and remain competitive.
We work with a device vendor throughout the contract term not only to manage continuity of supply but also to monitor device reliability. This total cost of ownership we believe is key for our customer’s ongoing success.
